Third-Party Services

Daily Speed Reader may access external services in the following cases:

• Project Gutenberg API: When you search for books, we query the Project Gutenberg API. This is done directly from your browser, and we do not store or process this data.
• Hosting: The application is hosted on AWS Amplify. Standard hosting logs may be generated, but these do not contain personal information or reading data.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you have complete control:

• Access: You can view all your data directly in the application
• Delete: You can delete books, clear progress, or clear all data using your browser's settings
• Export: Your data is stored in browser localStorage and can be accessed via browser developer tools
• Portability: Since data is local, you can clear it at any time by clearing browser data

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, security is primarily managed by your browser and device. We recommend:

• Keeping your browser updated
• Using secure devices and networks
• Not sharing your device with unauthorized users

Children's Privacy

Daily Speed Reader does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any information, this is not applicable. However, the application is suitable for use by children as it requires no registration or personal information.
